Day in Chicago!

Hey, this is Ben. We have left South Bend and are now in Chicago for our day of fun. We were 20 minutes out of the city this morning when it started raining. The weather calls for rain all day so we're walking around and getting wet. Thankfully, high school students know how to have fun regardless of the circumstances.

We got to Moody Bible Institute to park our bus and went to a residence dorm lobby to do devotions. After devos and a game, we headed to Lou Malnati's for some great Chicago style pizza. Now, the large group is split into 4 smaller groups and are seeing the city. My group is in the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue (where I'm updating the blog on one of the computers). We're heading to the Handcock Building. If we have time we might ride the elevated train before we meet up with the whole group at J's, an amazing burger joint.

Tonight we head to Hoffman Estates, a suburb of Chicago, to stay overnight at a hotel and go to church in the morning at Willow Creek Community Church. Looking forward to it.

Reason #146267 why I love this team: I don't think I've heard them complain once. It's raining and they're still having a great time :)
